I'm not ready

I found out today that the first day of school in our district is August 17th.

That means my BABY GIRL starts school in 3 months and one week.

I may have gotten all teary eyed when I realized the above information.

I'm not ready. I need about 10 more years before I'm ready to send her out into the world.

...or maybe 20.

I'm with you. But I know one little girl who is thrilled beyond measure--and that makes me smile. :-))

Lots of love to you! Wipe the tears away and enjoy the ride. Each stage is special. Before long you will be going to recitals and ballgames etc. Fun times.

Give my "babies" big hugs and kisses for me.

wow! that has come fast. she is going to love it! You will be so amazed at how much she is going to learn. I think it has been just as exciting as seeing those first steps and hearing those first words. Hearing your child read a book for the first time will bring out the tears!!

Mmmm. Seems as if it was just a couple of years ago in Fort Worth when you and Ryan were married. Wow! Time does fly. Kids grow up fast...have to enjoy each stage and keep it in your memory bank. Maxine and I have great memories of Marcus and Brett at that age. It is exciting to see them learn and grow...even though we kind of would like them to stay 5 or 6 for much longer...but time does fly. Enjoy them until they are teenagers...then you will have to fight for time with them. Uncle Bill
