I had to bring the boys home early yesterday because Eli started running fever at Mother's Day Out. Ryan stayed home with him today and we made the decision to go ahead and take him to the doctor.
Side note: We have paid a LOT of money to our doctor this month. I asked Ryan about that today and he replied that she told him all about the lake house she's building. He was totally joking, but it feels not far from the truth.
So, Ryan took off work AGAIN to take care of big man. Eli's strep test came back negative and upon further inspection, it was determined that he has Hand, Foot, Mouth and an ear infection. Poor guy. This probably explains why he hasn't eaten much in the last few days.
Kind of sick of having sick kids. I keep thinking that surely we're going to catch a break.
I'm still waiting...
:(

Man, poor baby, and poor parents. I'm sorry Haley. Having sick littles can feel very isolating. I hope everyone gets well soon and stays that way!
