The nativity according to Eva...

Maybe this is the 1st century equivalent of "driving" the baby around until he falls asleep!

Mary and Joseph love their fruit and praise God for it, apparently.  Meanwhile, baby Jesus is being carted around behind the donkey.  She always sets the nativity up like this.  I try to rearrange it for her, and she tells me no, then puts it back this way.  I don't get it!  It is hilarious, though.

She has also started calling Joseph, "God".  I guess she has picked up on us saying that Jesus is God's son, and she knows that this is his mommy and daddy.  She has made quite the leap in assumption.  Again, I think it's hilarious.  I'm sure God gets a kick out of it, too.  :)

(I uploaded lots of pictures last night, so this week should be full of blogs with visuals!)

P.S.  Ryan's hand was not broken... just badly bruised.  Praise Jesus!

LOL! I am laughing so hard! According to Ella, Jesus rides in the back of Santa's sleigh. Nice.

BTW, I just read your previous entry about Ryan's wreck. Praise God he was not hurt. It sounds like he has an awesome boss. We feel your pain about icy roads. That is such a drawback to living in a place with cold winters. Your family is in our prayers.
