There's always sports!

(First of all, I realize that "your" was the wrong form in the previous post.  Sorry about that.  Committed my own biggest pet peeve."  Oh, and I can't find the cord to upload our pictures to the computer, so we'll have to wait on our pictures of the first snow.  Sorry!)

Okay, now on to the current post subject.  We've been singing a lot of songs with Eva lately.  And she picks them up pretty quickly.  She's very obsessed with Christmas songs in particular.   It's really great to hear her singing songs like "Away in a Manger" and "Jingle Bells".

There's only one small hiccup with her dreams of being the next American Idol.  The kid is tone deaf.  Ryan keeps assuring me that it's just because she's 2 1/2, but I'm afraid that it might be deeper than that.  Every song she sings is monotone and off-key.  It makes me laugh hysterically, because it's just not all that pretty.

My mom was joking last night, that Eva will be the kid at the Christmas play that sings really loudly up in front and is off-key.  You know, there's always "that" kid.  Ryan and I will be the only ones in the audience that think it's cute.  Meanwhile, "Sara Jo's" mom who has been paying for music lessons since birth is gonna be ticked because this was her child's moment to shine!

Go Eva!  You show 'em!

So, we'll be starting either dance lessons or gymnastics lessons soon.  :)

Okay, that's too funny!! I think the most important thing is that she enjoys singing...I'm sure the tone will come later! Ha!

The Bible says to sing a joyful noise to the Lord. Thankfully, that has more to do with the heart than the ear...keep singing Eva!
