My Ballerina

This is my little ballerina! We started taking ballet lessons through our community education program. I figured that was the best way to find out if she really even likes ballet without making a huge commitment to a ballet studio. And because she's 3.

So far, she is LOVING it! She likes to practice what she has learned. And because the parents aren't allowed to sit in the class, she is able to tell me what she learned after class. It's so fun!
This is a picture of Eva and her friend Audrey who is in the class with her. They are sweet friends.

You may recognize the tutu that Audrey is wearing. It's the one that I made for Eva last winter, but Eva never wears it because she says it's scratchy. Audrey wanted a poofy one so we gave her this one. Audrey, in turn, gave Eva ballet slippers that she had outgrown. It was a wonderful trade.

Fun! I just saw this post! What a precious ballerina! We aren't allowed to sit in on Ella's gymnastics either. I love Eva's tutu!
