"I asked the Lord to give me this child, and he has granted me my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life." And they worshiped the Lord there." ~1 Samuel 1: 27-28
Praying over our precious baby boy. Can you tell I'm crying, because I totally was. I started thinking about how long I had wanted to have another baby, and how the timing seemed to be bad, but the Lord granted my request and gave us this beautiful baby boy. He is such a joy! Our pastor really challenged us as parents to teach and lead our children. We prayed for the day that Eli would accept Christ! I cannot wait to celebrate that day with Eva, Eli, and with our future children!!! What greater joy is there as a parent?!
One of the pictures we had shown of our handsome little guy.
Such a great Mother's Day! (Again, I'm a week late. It's the story of my life. I guess it works since Eli was born a week late.) :)

Oh my goodness. Eli looks like such a little BOY in those clothes. What happened to my baby??? Sniff, sniff, sniff . . . sniff, sniff, sniff . . . .
What a precious, special time. Children are a heritage of the Lord!
Love you all so much!
