4 months old!

This cute little boy turned 4 months old on Sunday.

He doesn't always look this stunned, but the camera shocked him. :)

I love these little feet.

At 4 months, this is what you're up to:

-Rolling over

-trying your best to sit up already... not there yet, but you are dying to be able to sit up and look around.

-Spitting up a TON. :( Thinking this could be part of the reason that you are a terrible sleeper. Some nights you're up every hour. It's been a really hard month.

-Smiling and showing those dimples!

- You love to be held and talked to. You reward these interactions with more smiling. It's really sweet.

-Keeping an eye on Eli. I think you already know that he wants to wrestle. And because he has unintentionally hurt or scared you a few times you always keep your eye on him when he's close. We think it's pretty funny. Soon enough you will be big enough to wrestle with him and he will be so thrilled.

-We are taking you back to the doctor this week to see if you have porked up any. You are without a doubt our skinniest baby even though you haven't missed a feeding yet!

Update 4/1/11: Went to the doctor today. You are now weighing 14 lbs 11 oz., so you have grown quite a bit, which is great! After talking with me and looking at your weight gain, the doctor thinks your sleep issues are more behavioral and less medical. We aren't doing reflux medications for now. The good news is that you learned to roll to your tummy yesterday and have now been rolling over a lot. Yesterday morning you rolled over to your tummy in bed and slept for a whole hour (which has been unheard of until now). At this very moment you are asleep on your tummy again. The doctor said not to worry about you sleeping that way if you are able to roll yourself over. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a wonderful trend of everyone getting some more rest in this house. We all need it!!!

Isaac, we love you a whole whole lot... which is good because you are wearing us out! ;) Your daddy thinks that you smile more than your brother and sister did at this point, which makes your name fit you even better.
