Tonight we had "Meet the Teacher" at Eva's school. In the stack of papers the teacher gave us, there was a little piece of paper with a tissue stapled to it. It was a poem. Of which I read approximately two lines before realizing that unless I wanted to have a complete emotional breakdown right there in Mrs. Platania's kindergarten room, then I needed to put it down! I waited until I got home and then read it. I was right. It definitely made me cry. It is all starting to hit me.
And that's enough about that for today.

I just saw the pictures from "meet the teacher" night! I know it is heart-breaking to think of her growing up so quickly, but that girl is so ready to go to school! Did you happen to notice that she wrote her name perfectly straight in perfect penmanship? Some kindergartners spend the whole year learning to write their name. She amazes me!

What a big boy Isaac is! Your meet-the-teacher story had me tearing up. I would definitely cause a scene and start crying with that poem. We have meet-the-teacher tonight, and I'm thinking I need to wear waterproof mascara :)
