"We used to want it all...

...but now we just want to go to the bathroom alone!"

Have you all seen that poster floating around Pinterest?  It's humorous because it's true.  Except I never really wanted it all.  I always wanted to be a mom.

But I was thinking about it this morning as I was replaying a conversation I had with Eva yesterday.  She was pouting about not being able to do something she wanted to do.  I was explaining that we don't always get to do everything we want to do.

I said, "Even mommy doesn't get to do everything I want to do."

"Like what? What can you not do?"

"Like... go to the bathroom ALONE!"

"Well you get to do that sometimes," she said.

So, I stand corrected.  SOMETIMES, I get to go to the bathroom alone.  :)

I'm not sure I remember the last time that happened, but apparently it has.
