A funny realization

I just had an epiphany!  Every time I fold clothes, I'm amazed at how few clothes I fold of Eva's compared to the rest of us.  Normally I think that it's because I forgot the clothes in her hamper.  But now that it's summer, I think the difference in her stack of clothes compared to everyone else's stack is even more drastic... as in her stack includes undies, 2 shirts, and 2 dresses.  That's it.  And I have folded about four loads of clothes tonight.

And then it hit me.  Her clothes never make it into the dirty clothes hamper because she never wears one outfit long enough for it to actually get dirty.  Eva is the QUEEN of wardrobe changes throughout the day.  I wish I could say that she neatly re-hangs each outfit before finding her new "Punky Brewster" ensemble, but that would be lying.  Truth be told, the clothes get stuffed in various places until room clean up time.  So when we do a sniff test or spot check to determine if something needs washing, it always passes and gets put back in the closet because she never wears it long enough for it to be dirty!

Mystery solved!
