My computer does actually work

I haven't intended to take a two week break, but life happens and here we are two weeks later.  Concise updates are our friends so here you go:

A couple of weeks ago, Eva decided she wants to play the violin. Just in case it's not clear, her violin is actually a bottle of nail polish remover and her bow is a nail file. 

I smell prodigy!

Then last weekend, Ryan had to work all weekend.  So Eva and I packed up and drove to Tulsa to see Mimi and TyTy.  

And they took us to the aquarium where we put Eva in the shark tank. :)  Oh, I jest... it was really a shark tunnel.

And TyTy and I touched the stingrays.  At the end of the day, Eva said that the stingrays were her favorite.  Even though one jumped slightly out of the water and sent her running scared.

And Eva posed for lots of pictures in front of lots of fish tanks.

Then she made her mama proud by bonding with the alligator.  She has a little Louisiana in her. (No kidding, I just misspelled Louisiana the first time, so maybe I still have a little in me, too.)

It was a fun weekend!

Ryan's parents also threw us a "baby shower" with no guests.  There were lots of presents for our little guy, and he should be well clothed and diapered for his first few months of life.  

We had such a fun weekend and I am so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family.  Thanks Frederick fam for spoiling Eva and me rotten.  :)
