Even newer update: We have a contract on our house!!!! We will close on June 1st, assuming no one goes crazy and backs out. :) Please pray that everything goes smoothly. We are so excited and completely trust that this is the one!
Since Ryan had to work the entire weekend, he got Monday off. Since it was the most beautiful of days and we were able to score a buy one, get one free on tickets (and since Eva still gets in free), we decided to check out the KC zoo. Beautiful zoo, but if you ever get a chance to go, wear your walking shoes. It is the most spread out zoo in the world. We walked around for a solid 3 hours and only saw the "Africa" portion of the zoo. Let me tell you that my very pregnant body was so sore and ready to quit by the end. But it was a wonderful day and much needed for our little family.
First we saw the elephants. To which Eva told us, "Sometimes elephants scare princesses." And she wouldn't get close to the elephants. We kind of tricked her into taking this picture. She'll thank us someday.

Then we ran into Eva's friend Lucy and we walked around with her and her mom for part of the afternoon. Aren't they sweet?!
Then Lucy introduced Eva to the joy that is a popsicle.
After touring Africa, we watched the sea lion show. It was so much fun!

However, Eva was all tuckered out by the time we got here, that she missed the sea lions because she was doing this:

Woo hoo for contracts that won't fall through!!! And it looks like Eva is still dawning her Graco Quattro... you guys upgrading to a double or will she be forced to walk alongside baby boy no-name?
Fun!!! She is such a cutie, I'm proud of you for braving the zoo! I will pray that these guys are the real deal with your house so you can leave your worries behind!
Nope, no double stroller for us. We've used that stroller all of about 3 times in the last year, so it wouldn't be worth it. The only time she got in it at the zoo was when she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.
Haha, elephants scare princesses! Valuable life lesson right there! :0) Looks like you guys had a great time at the zoo! WHooHOO for the contract on the house!! Love hearing news like that! Eva is so cute, btw!
Sounds like an enormous zoo! I loved Eva's comment about elephants scaring princesses. I laughed out loud :)
