The problem was we got a late start on our date because we thought I might be going into labor. (Clearly I didn't.) So after dinner, we didn't have time to do much else. But I did have a gift card to Wal-Mart that was burning a hole in my pocket and I knew exactly what I wanted to spend it on. So, off we went. As soon as we walked in the doors, I told Ryan that I felt like I was in college again. (All you Ouachita alums know EXACTLY what I'm talking about... Friday night at Wal-Mart.)
Back tot he baby section we went and got the couple of things we needed and then Ryan said there was something he wanted to look at over in the sporting goods department. Off we went.
As we walked away from the checkout counter we just had to laugh at ourselves. Because in true Jeff Foxworthy fashion:
If you take your pregnant wife to Wal-Mart on a Friday night date to buy a breast pump and bullets for your hand gun... YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK!
I guess if the shoe fits, wear it proudly. :)

so you caved and let Ryan buy a handgun? when did that happen? :-) I still feel like I am in college when we go to Walmart at night as well.

Andy & I cracked up when we read this post. Our date nights almost always end up at Wal-Mart.

This is hilarious, but isn't that what Wal-Mart is for? Extremely random purchases? :) On a different note, I have that same pump and like it quite well. Hope it is good for you too.
Ha--that sounds like our dates! We even get REAL crazy sometimes and go to Barnes and Noble.
