Our little chunkers is trying so hard to crawl. He gets awfully frustrated when he scoots backward... farther away from the toy he's reaching for. We've also started getting kisses, which is just the sweetest thing ever. I don't care how wet my cheeks get! There have been a lot of "dada" sounds being heard around here, as well. The other day Eli was fussing because he wanted to be picked up. So I told him, "Say, 'Up Mama.'" He looked at me and said, "Dada!" Close enough. We hear "baba" and "mama" and a few "yaya" sounds too, but "dada" seems to be the favorite for now.
Little Eva bear is just as busy as ever. We have just come out of a really peaceful period with her in which she was extremely obedient and just a 100% joy. I knew it wouldn't last, but that's really okay. Our big challenge right now is trying to teach her that it is completely okay to be mad or frustrated, but it is not okay to say things that will hurt people's feelings when you are angry. It's a challenge, but Ryan and I are learning with her. It is kind of humorous, but we can't let her know that. :) When she gets mad at us she'll say through gritted teeth, "I don't like your shirt. It is NOT pretty." We get a kick out of her and her budding personality.
That is our nutshell. Really working on getting back in the swing of more frequent blogging.
Have a happy weekend!

I'll have to try Eva's approach next time I get frustrated at Bradley..."I do NOT like your shirt!!". HA....hilarious!!
I laughed out loud at the Eva comment! Chloe's favorite thing to say is "you're not my best friend"...
