Swim lessons

Last Thursday Eva finished swim lessons with a bang! She did something that just 2 weeks earlier, I would have sworn that she would have never done. She started out the first day being excited about swim lessons, but it wasn't what she had expected it to be. The rest of the week, she didn't want to go and we kept having to talk about being brave. But by the end of the second week, she was doing so much better! On the last day, my timid little girl jumped off the diving board to her teacher below! It was so exciting to watch. If only I had remembered my camera on that day, we would have a lovely picture/video of the event. Luckily my mom was able to capture a video with her camera. Now if only I could get it from her camera to my computer without uploading the other 1000 pictures/videos she has on her camera that would be great.

Here's our little swimmer getting into the cold pool. Every day she was freezing by the time lessons were over. Eli and I on the other hand were sweating in the sun.

Practicing her front stroke. As you'll see below in the video, she loved to practice the front stroke.

Here's Gi and Eli waiting. Mostly we were trying to keep Eli away from the pool. That kid loves water and wanted so badly to crawl right over the edge.

You can barely hear me on the video, but Eva is practicing her swim strokes while all the other kids take their turn swimming with the teacher. She would do this the entire time. It was so funny!

How much do we love these facial expressions? She was determined to not get water in her face unnecessarily.

Eva, we are so proud of how brave you were trying something new! We love you!
