Day one: My Kitchen
1. What are your favorite color combos for kitchens?
My kitchen has no color in it right now. I do have a piece of artwork behind our dining table, but I don't love it. I've thought about painting over it. I mean, why not? I was also thinking about making some placemats. But I become so indecisive when it comes to choosing a color!!!
Help!!!
2. What are some fun words that I could put in the kitchen? I could put these on the wall maybe, in place of art. Maybe.
Okay, let your ideas fly...
Next up will be our master bedroom.
P.S. I will do before and after pictures as I complete my laundry list of projects. But I'm going to need some help to get them done! So please share your ideas!!! Thank you and goodnight. :)

I like bold colors for the kitchen. Mine is red (like dark apple red) with white wainscoting to break up the color a little. U can accent it with khaki or yellow (not bright yellow). I have used black and khaki in mine. But if ur house is a more neutral palate I think beachy colors are very soothing like pale blues or yellows with white accents,this a very clean look. As for art my friends and I like to go to antique stores and find old food signs and stuff like that. Good luck with your decorating!
I like bright colors in the kitchen too. Ours are not, but only because I am too lazy to do anything like it. I like beachy colors too...although that sounds a little funny.
I was thinking the other day about how I want "choose joy" painted somewhere in my house.
