These are some pictures from the last month that I've been meaning to post. I decided I better do it now before things get really crazy around here.
We had some beautiful weather this past month and we took full advantage of it by playing outside! We have definitely learned the lesson that when it gets cold here, it. gets. COLD!!!
Eva was making a nest. For herself. Maybe she was pretending she was a bird?? I can't remember exactly.
We put Eli to work raking leaves to help pay for groceries. :) Have I mentioned that this kid can eat?
Then, last Monday (or Tuesday???) Eli tried to give me a heart attack and put me into labor all at the same time. This picture doesn't really do it justice, but he fell and busted his head open on our end table. I couldn't tell at first if it needed stitches b/c it looked really deep. Of course, I couldn't get in touch of Ryan at work, Eli was crying uncontrollably, and I didn't know what to do first! I calmed down and we all survived the event... no stitches necessary. Thank you Jesus!!!
He is also pretty fond of getting himself stuck in precarious places lately. Of course, I leave him stuck long enough to get a picture. This time he pulled over the rack of diapers, which were drying, and couldn't get out.
And yesterday, he got himself stuck in an upside down stool. :) It was too funny!
Eva didn't want to miss out on the action. Those firstborns. :)

This weekend, Eva was her daddy's biggest helper by helping him to rake leaves. She was so proud of herself! I'm not sure that she was quite as sore as he was after bagging 8 bags of leaves from just the left side of our driveway. Trees are great until all their leaves fall off. :)
