Well, I went to the doctor today. She wanted to do an ultrasound just to check the size of the baby (because she was pretty sure he was getting big!). Looks like I'm going to be having another bruiser. :) He is already somewhere around 8 pounds, give or take a few ounces. I really love my doctor. I was really worried that she might try to talk me into scheduling a c-section, but she didn't. She basically told me that she will still let me go to around 41 weeks and see if I go into labor on my own. But, like last time, she doesn't really want me to go much past that for several reasons. She also said that if I came in to the hospital for my c-section and I was dialated to like a 3 and really effaced, then she might try breaking my water to see if it would get labor started before forcing me to have a C-section. We talked for a long time today because she wanted to make sure that I was mentally prepared for birthing another 9 1/2 lb. baby. I told her that my recovery from Eli's birth was still easier than the recovery from Eva's c-section.
So, like last time I'm definitely anxious to have this baby naturally and will just keep praying that "little" Isaac decides to make his appearance in the next couple of weeks.
And the waiting continues...

I'm so happy that you have a doctor you love. It really does make all the difference, doesn't it? I'm sorry your recovery from Eva's c-section was so traumatic, and I truly hope you get your wish to have another vaginal delivery again. Also, I wanted to tell you that my two c-section recoveries were completely different, so if it came to it, perhaps this time wouldn't be so bad. Either way, I'll be praying for you friend.
SO YOU HAD A C-SECTION AND 2 REGULAR BIRTHS? THAT IS AWESOME! THAT GIVES ME HOPE B/C I HAD A C-SECTION AND WOULD LIKE TO GO INTO LABOR NEXT TIME. I DON'T WANT A SCHEDULED C-SECTION!! YOU GIVE ME HOPE!!
