I ruined their dinner, but I don't even care. Why? Because this is an event that needed celebrating. We are officially a diaper free house for the first time since May of 2006. With the exception of a few months that Eva was potty-trained before Eli was born, we have had one or two kids in diapers for the last 7 years. That's a lot of diapers. Two kids in diapers for 2 1/2 years and one in diapers for 4 years, means we all deserved a party!
So today, that's just what we did! Complete with dinosaur cake and candles for the boys to blow out while we sang, "bye-bye diapers to you" (to the tune of happy birthday). It was so much fun! And I don't even care that probably none of these kids will eat dinner tonight!
So proud of you two little boys! I love you both and your no-shirt-wearing selves!
