You know you're the mom of a preschooler...

when:

1.  You hurt your self and you call it a boo-boo.
2. The only available band-aids for your boo-boo are Dora the Explorer.  Wear it proudly!
3.  You wonder if the theme song for Curious George is available on iTunes... Not because she likes it, but because I do.  Sad. I know.  But it's jazzy and fun!  :)
4. It's completely normal that you talk about her poo.
5.  You haven't slept past 6 am since May 29, 2006.
6. You haven't seen a movie, in a theater since 2007.
7.  You can name every character on Sesame Street, but even more than that, you have a favorite character.  I love me some Zoe.
8. Going to a restaurant (and I use that term loosely)  that doesn't serve chicken strips seems like fantasy land.
9.  You haven't gone to the potty (and yes, you have to call it a potty) without an extra set of eyes or an extra set of hands offering to get the tissue for you, since May 29, 2006.
10.  The greatest sound at the end of the day is, "Yea!  Daddy's home!"  Now mommy gets to potty without an extra set of eyes.  :)

It's the little things in life.  Can I get an Amen?!

Amen!!! I can relate on SO many levels to this post (well, except for the Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer and Curious George...no TV here ;)).

Potty buddies are fun, huh? (note this was in a somewhat sarcastic tone).

I totally understand! My potty buddy loves sticking his hand in the potty and splashing it around!!! We are so sanitary! Life changes SO much, but I love it...sometimes I miss not having my mini me around me...even when I get to go potty by myself! You just get used to it!
