More Eva comments

I do love this girl. She is just too fun! Today she was telling me about this little boy in her class who had invited her to his birthday party. I asked her who he was. She said, "Well, he's not really my friend."

"Why is he not your friend?" I question.

"Well, because he doesn't really treat me the way my friends should treat me." (Love that self-esteem!)

"Oh. What does he do?"

"One time he said the 'S' word." (For those who don't have preschoolers: The "S" word refers to "stupid". Just FYI.)

"Yeah, that's not very nice to say."

"And one time he also said the really bad word that starts with the 'sh' sound."

Hmmm... surely she doesn't mean THAT "sh" word, right?!?

"Can you tell mommy which 'sh' word he said?" I ask.

She thinks first, just to make sure she won't get in trouble. I give her a reassuring head nod.

"He said 'shut up'."

Shew! The preschool version of the "sh" word. I love the innocence. Praying that she keeps it for a really long time.

Tonight, Eva and Ryan were playing Uno before bed. Eva was handedly beating her daddy. :) She got down to playing her next to last card and since her daddy is so sweet, he said, "Do you remember what you're supposed to say when you have just one card left?"

She holds her card high in the air and shouts, "BINGO!"

It was so funny! Love, love, love that girl.
