Eva has never been a good eater of "big girl food". She probably would have been content to just nurse for the rest of her life.. but let's be honest that's not good for anyone. So, though my many desperate attempts to get her to eat, I discovered her LOVE of ketchup (which she calls "baburt"). It's great, I can get her to eat almost anything if it has ketchup on it. Well, right now she is laying down for a nap but hasn't fallen asleep yet and I can hear her talking. One of the things she keeps saying is "baburt" along with a few other random words. It's so funny! I just wonder what her brain is thinking. Now she is going through all the names she knows and then saying "no" in a real high-pitched voice afterwards. She says, "Brittany. No. Mommy. No. Gi. No. Papa. No...and on and on. It's so funny. Again, what is she thinking?!
This morning we took Eva to the park. We thought it was going to be a warmer, sunny day. However, we quickly realized that it is cold and cloudy outside. She had so much fun swinging and sliding, but her little teeth were chattering so we asked her if she wanted to go. She quickly and sternly said "No, no, no!" So we stayed a little longer and then we left without giving her a choice. It was for her own good. I'm attaching some pictures of our park visit this morning. We're looking forward to going again sometime when it's not 45 degrees outside. :)
