23 months

Eva is 23 months old today!  It makes me a little sad, but I'm so proud of her.  She is just so smart,  it constantly amazes me.  I was singing a song to her this weekend that I heard at a daycare last week that teaches kids the months of the year.  After hearing it one time, I heard her singing, "March, April, May, April"  Now, we all know that May doesn't come after April, but I still thought she was pretty smart.  On top of being smart, she's just so sweet.  She likes to curl up with me and say, "Mommy's baby."  Sometimes she says, "Daddy's baby."  

I still think it's funny that God gave two "night-owls" a "morning bird".  She wakes up about 6:30 every morning, except the mornings that I have to go to work.  Example, this morning I had to leave for work at 7am and Ryan said she slept until 7:30.  The last time I had to leave that early, she slept until 8:00.  Crazy!  I really need to give up my dream of sleeping past 6:30 on a Saturday.  I am trying to undo 27 years of conditioning.  I'm sure that God is trying to teach me something from the early mornings, I just haven't figured out what yet.  

I don't have any new pictures to share of my little joy today.  I didn't get any pictures of Eva this weekend while we were planting flowers.  My hands were too dirty.  I wasn't wearing gloves because they made Eva scared for some odd reason.
