Long Week

We've had a long week.  It started last week with having 2 girlfriends in from college and having a baby shower for one of them.  It was a little stressful just having to get my house ready and the food ready.  And then 15 minutes before the shower started, I dropped a bottle of red fingernail polish on my bathroom floor and it splattered everywhere.  (I still haven't gotten it all up.)  The polish is on the tile, the grout, the doors... everywhere.

My friends left on Sunday, and then I had to clean house again for my parents who came on Wednesday.  They were a big help by keeping Eva while I was at work.  My brother and his wife came over to have dinner with all of us on Friday night and Eva was up until 9 pm.  Way past her bedtime.  She still woke up at 6 on Saturday morning.

On Saturday, Ryan's parents and sister came to see us.  They got here in time to have lunch with my parents before they had to leave.  And Ryan's parents left this afternoon.  It's been great having every body here and Eva has LOVED having them all here.  But now we're all beat!  We actually put Eva to bed at about 6:30 tonight.  Her emotions just couldn't handle the depths of her exhaustion.  She's been up til 8 or 9 every night for the last 5 days and has still gotten up at 6ish every morning.  She also didn't get a nap today, except for in the car and while walking around the mall.

I'll add pictures of all the weekend fun tomorrow.  Tonight, I'm just too pooped to be on the computer for very long.  I guess I should mention that everyone came to see us this weekend, because Eva's 2nd birthday is this week.  Crazy!  So she got lots of presents over the last few days... including a new tricycle, which she has barely gotten off of since she opened it on Saturday afternoon.

Pictures tomorrow...

I am sorry your week was so long and tiring. Our was too, so I can sympathize, although, we didnt have to entertain people like you did. How is the nail polish situation? I also didn't realize that Rachel's anniversary was that Sat. that we were there. I feel bad that we werent able to attend to your feelings that day.

Also, do the clothes fit ok?
