Treats and Tears

My little girl loves treats.  Particularly the sweet kind.  Last night we told her that we were going to go get a treat after dinner and she got so excited.  She kept saying, "Yea!  Treats!"  She was ready to go long before we were and kept telling us to come on.  Once we got to Cold Stone (it's a yummy ice cream place for those that don't have the luxury) she was so excited.  She would tell me, "More bite treat!"  It was the greatest.  It made us all so happy on a Friday night.

Then, last night, Ryan went to see a movie with one of his guy friends and I watched a chick flick at home by myself.  Now this movie I had wanted to see back around Christmas time when it first came out.  Boy am I glad that I didn't.  It was by far the saddest, most heart-wrenching movie I've ever seen.  I cried from about 10 minutes into it until the very last scene.  For those that are curious and feel the need to cry, the movie is called "P.S. I love you."  I won't give you the whole plot just in case you decide to see the movie.  It was good, I enjoyed the plot, but I'm really glad that I didn't see it in the theater.  I would have made a complete fool out of myself.  Has anyone else seen this movie?  If so, did you cry as much as I did, or am I a little crazy?  I'm fine with being crazy, you won't hurt my feelings if you say that I am.  :)

Another random note... 5 years ago today, I graduated from college.  In a way it seems like a lifetime ago.  And in a way I can't believe it's been that long.

I love Coldstone. Eva has good taste! I so wanted to see P.S. I Love You, but I haven't yet. I heard that it is sad. I am the worst about crying over movies. I am even getting bad about certain songs that I hear. It is ridiculous.

BTW, my ten-year high school reunion is this summer...and it is making me feel like a dinosaur.
