Big Kid and Interview Update...

I know everyone is just DYING to know the ins and outs of Eva's potty schedule.  :)  If you're disgusted, just don't read today.
On day 2, she only had one accident!  How great is that!?  She even took initiative all day long to go to the potty herself in time to go potty.  I'm just so proud of her.  She's very proud of herself as well.  It's cute.  We even didn't reward with chocolate a few times today.  Maybe tomorrow there will be even less chocolate.  Gotta reduce that sometime, I suppose.  I don't want a 10 year old saying, "Mommy, I just went tee-tee.  I want 2 chocolate chips, please."

On another note, I had the interview today for the Mother's Day Out job.  It went really well.  He's ready for me to start when I'm ready.  Great, right?  Well, the draw back is that they barely pay peanuts.  I'm talking barely above minimum wage.  Obviously I know that something is better than nothing, but I don't know.  That is the only negative.  There were lots of positives that came out of the interview today.  The director and I have very similar beliefs and I am totally on board with his vision for the preschool ministry.  He is very passionate about developing a ministry for children with special needs.  There were lots of little things that we were on the same page with that made me excited.  All that is fine and dandy unless we can't pay our bills.  Know what I mean?  So, just pray for us as we make yet another difficult decision in the next few days.

I have also found some really cool job possibilities on the internet, but who know if those will work out.  It really boils down to where God wants me to be.  One job is working with teen moms who have decided not to abort their babies.  How much do we love that?!  So, we'll see how the Lord directs our steps in the coming weeks.

Thanks for your prayers.

Isn't it so frustrating that so many vitally important jobs don't pay what your worth. Boy I know the feeling. I'm praying for you guys during this challenging time. Eva sounds like she is doing great! Chocolate chips are a good reward!
