3+1+6= one big happy family

3- First of all, Eva had her 3 yr. check up last week.  She is just about as healthy as she can be!  She now weighs 29 lbs and is 35 1/2 inches tall... so basically she's a peanut.  But we love our little peanut!  Ryan has joked that the height difference in our children is going to be hilarious in another 15 yrs.

1- Eli turned a month old yesterday.  The joke in my side of the family is that he's going to be a lineman for LSU someday.  My dad and my uncles keep telling me that they've called Les Miles (LSU's head coach) to tell him about Eli.  I'm not sure about all of that, but I do know that my little boy has been a CHAMP of a sleeper the last 3 nights.  Last night he slept from 11 pm until 5:30 am and then went back to sleep until 8!  He's my boy!

6- Ryan and I celebrated 6 years of wedded bliss yesterday!  Can't believe it's been that long already.  Having a newborn we didn't get to do anything crazy exciting, but we did have a fun night on Saturday as a family.  We went to eat at the only good Mexican food place in 30 miles, Abuelo's.  It is at this outdoor shopping area (similar to Southlake town square for you DFW people) so we walked around after dinner.  We got some ice cream and heard a little live music.  The weather was awesome!  I'm really loving Kansas City's summer.  Next weekend Ryan's parents are coming to visit so we are going to try to get a date with just the two of us.

So that's our happy family!
