2010

1. What is something you did last year that you've never done before?
Gave birth to a baby boy... the good ole' fashioned way.
2. Did you keep your resolution from last year?
I definitely didn't make one last year. This year I'm not making "resolutions" but I am setting some goals for the year.

3. What places have you visited last year?
I'm boring. I've been to Louisiana and Oklahoma. But there may be some big things in store for 2010... we'll have to wait and see for sure.

4. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A full night's sleep! Definitely more self-discipline.

5. What dates will remain etched in your mind from 2009?
June 26, 2009

6. What was the best thing you bought in 2009?
Our 4-wheel drive vehicle. It keeps us from being stuck every time it snows.

7. where did most of your money go in 2009?
Probably to paying for the birth of my sweet baby boy... and other yucky bills.

8. What did you wish you had done more of last year?
Invest in relationships.

9. What do you wish you had done less of last year?
Complain! I'm working on that.

10. What was your favorite tv show last year?
Survivor... I know it's been on forever, but I love it and this last season was definitely one of the best ever.

11. What was the best book you read last year?
Hmmm... that is a tough one. I'm trying to remember all the books I did read this year. I think one of the best things was actually the bible study I did this year called Believing God. I'm sure you've all heard of it, but it was life changing for me at a time that I really needed to learn how to believe my God! If you haven't done this study, do it now!

12. Who was the best person you met last year?
Oh that's easy! My baby boy. He's the greatest gift of the year by far!

Looking forward!

My father-in-law said I need to put my goals on my blog so it will keep me accountable. I'm not usually one for resolutions but this year I think I'm thinking more about things I wanted to do before I turned 30. So here we go, my goals for the year:

1. I want to run a 5K... The 2 other times that I have made this goal, I've ended up pregnant and had to quit running. Here's hoping that doesn't happen this time. :)
2. I want to learn to knit. Yes, this makes me sound like I'm 70, but who cares.
3. I want to read through the Bible this year. It's something I've never done before.
4. I want to actually get birthday cards in the mail before my loved ones' birthdays. And since my brother's birthday is in 4 days and I haven't gotten him a card yet, I'm gonna just do the best I can. :)
5. I want to make Eva a dress with my new sewing machine this year.

That's it! I'll try to keep my goals updated as I go...
