2nd Christmas and Bowling!

After our first Christmas, my parents stayed for a whole week. It was great fun, even though it was so cold and snowy that we really didn't do much. Mom and I did venture out to Target, though!

Then we packed up and drove to Tulsa for New Year's and for our second Christmas. Other than the drive there and the drive back, we had a lot of fun! I was able to sleep in a couple of times and take a couple of good naps. It was very relaxing.
This little guy got lots of kisses... from people other than his sister. And he got lots of new handsome big boy clothes. (Those would be size 9-12 month clothes!)

Eva turned into Snow White and swept a lot of floors.

Then just as quickly, she became a ballerina.
Her "prince" fitted her shoes.
It was a great Christmas, part 2.

Then, we did something that we've never done together before! In fact, Ryan and I realized that we had never been bowling together. How did that happen? But we went and it was so much fun! Eva had the time of her life and actually cried when our game was over and it was time to go home.

They had this little ramp for kids. Eva put her ball on the ramp and then pushed it off. It helped to give her the momentum needed to get the ball down the lane. It was so cute!

The ball was almost as big as her.

I'm not going to tell you who won or who lost, but I will tell you that H is for Haley and R is for Ryan. :)

Better luck next time sucker! ;)

And yes, I realize we should both be embarrassed by the ridiculously low scores. We choose to over look that part. :)

Ryan obviously didn't visit us in Arkdoo as much as he should have while we were there or else he would have been subjected to our incredibly exciting nights out at the bowling alley. And I even remember when we took our game to the next level at the Hot Springs bowling alley. We.were.awesome.
