A girl and her shoes

I've never cared all that much about shoes.  Don't love shoe shopping.  I prefer to just wear flip-flops most of the time if I can.  I hate high heels.  I only wear them because they make my clothes look better.  (Shallow I know.)  Which is why it's really weird that my child LOVES shoes.  She doesn't just love her shoes, she loves all shoes.  She particularly loves high heeled shoes and other shoes that go clip, clop on our tile floors.  Eva wants to have shoes on her feet all day long.  It's the funniest thing to me.  She even tells me to put my shoes on throughout the day.  I'm constantly telling her that I don't need shoes because we're not going outside.  Maybe she thinks that if she convinces me to put shoes on then we can actually leave the house.

Just so everyone can fully grasp the amount of shoes that we go through in one day, I collected them all today and took a picture.  This is why I feel like I am constantly putting shoes in my closet.  And Eva is constantly going into my closet and getting them back out.  It's just too funny.

For those counting... yes, that's 9 pairs of shoes in one day.

This was before church last Sunday... again with the brown high heels.  She kept telling me that she didn't want to wear her shoes, she wanted to wear mommy's shoes.
