This is how the moment played out...
Ryan was reading the newspaper. Eva wanted to show him something.
"Daddy."
No response.
"Daddy."
No response.
"Daddy!"
No response.
"RYAN!"
The paper jerked back.
"Who am I?"
Then Eva told him what she wanted. She finally called him "daddy" again.
Meanwhile, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying on other side of the room. I had to hide my face, so she wouldn't think it was funny to call her daddy by his first name. Hilarious!

LOL, that is hilarious! I have to hide my face all the time when Lucy does things she really shouldn't do.
That is so funny! Whenever I am upset at Sam...which you know is never...I call his name sternly...Ethan always repeats after me...and then I just can"t be mad anymore! Children are so smart!!!
