Out of the mouths of babes

Remember back in December when Ryan totaled his car?  Of course, how could we forget that fun day?  Apparently this has caused Eva to have great anxiety over her daddy's driving.  She is always telling him to be careful, etc.  Tonight, on the way to the grocery store, Ryan was driving.  As we were pulling out of our parking spot at our apartment, he didn't see a car coming, so I fairly calmly told him to "whoa! Whoa! WHOA!".  (calmly and lovingly, of course)  Eva then told her daddy, "Be careful daddy so you don't break any more cars."  Ryan and I died laughing.

I've also had lots of questions on what we were going to name our little man.  We seriously have no idea.  We are open to suggestions.  We aren't keeping it a secret just to drive anyone crazy, we just don't know.  We had a girl name picked out (which I'm not gonna tell, just in case we get a girl later, I don't want anyone stealing!) because we kind of expected another girl for some reason.

Anyway, all that to say, I asked Eva tonight what she wanted to name her little brother.  She answered, "Suzie!"  Okay, sure.  Suzie it is.  This weekend she also told me she wanted to name him "Boy."  Appropriate, but not what we're looking for.  Hopefully we'll come up with something wonderful before it's time to bring him home from the hospital.

You know, they won't let you take a baby home without naming him.  Ahh, the pressure!  I promise to keep you all posted on our progress.  We'll take suggestions!

Well Eva just cracked me up! I am glad she is keeping tabs on how many cards he is crashing!
As far as names go...let me think!
*Copeland (I love that name, but Sam vetoed to it's out for my future son)
*Greyson
I will think some more!

Well, you do have to name a baby, but I have known several couples who gave their baby a name like this- BABY Frederick...and they named it later. Now that would be amusing! Hopefully, you will find one soon!

So funny about Eva. Nick backed into our mailbox about a month ago (yes, the one that's been there the entire 4 years we've lived in our house). Anyway, until recently when we actually got the tail-light fixed, Carter would point at it and say, "Daddy broke it." Hilarious.

And my vote's still for Elliot, even though Ryan doesn't like it.

Suzie! Haha, that reminds me of the Johnny Cash song, "My name is Sue." Well I will tell you some of our choices for boy names before we came up with Caedmon. -Aiden, Riley, Soren, Bailey, Brodie, Jordan. I don't know if you would like any of them, but just thought I would throw them out there.

I can't wait to hear what you all decide!! How funny and smart is Eva?? Maybe this fear will continue till she is 16 and you won't have to worry about her being "one of those" teen drivers!! We definitely don't want Ryan breaking anymore cars, ha!!
