Career Fair

I know that my dad, my brothers, and all of my uncles have really high hopes of Eli being star football player, but I think he has a different career coming his way. I'm pretty sure that Eli is going to be a trash man instead.

It is so hard to try to keep this little "thug" out of the trash all day long. He drives me crazy. He has been known to pick things out of the trash that he finds interesting. And he may or may not have eaten a few morsels out of what he finds.

He also likes to put things in the trash! I catch him frequently taking the refrigerator magnets off and putting them in the trash. He has thrown toys in there, as well.

Today he did a brand new one though. I got out socks for him just before we were leaving, set them on the recliner and then went to do something else. When I came back, Eva said, "Mommy, Eli put his socks in the trash!" Luckily my sweet Eva had already dug the socks out for me. She is a sweet one.

So Eli, if you do decide to become a trash man, just know that I called it when you were just 15 months old. And I will love you no matter what you decide to be. :)

Update: This morning I had to rescue two of his blankets from the trash, which is really funny because he really loves his blankets. That boy is too funny! I do love his mischievous little self. :)

Trash men are a necessity to all of us! I think he's pretty smart to have found such a fun, new game! :)

Love that boy - Mimi
