Yesterday, Eva's preschool had their annual "Ugly Bug Ball". How cute is that?! All the kids dress up and have a costume parade through the church so all the secretaries can oooh & aahh. Somewhere along the way, I think Eva must have thought that she actually had to dress up as an actual bug. She started out talking about wanting to be a spider, but that eventually led to wanting to be a butterfly. I went with the butterfly idea, b/c I knew we could do that pretty easily and cheaply by using her ballet outfit. Throw on some wings and add some temporary hot pink hair color (which was a bribe from her daddy!) and I think this is just about the cutest butterfly I've ever seen!
This is Eva's friend Kate that comes over to play two mornings a week before preschool. She is such a sweet girl and she and Eva have become best buds. They are so sweet together... most of the time. Occasionally one little girl, whose name starts with E, gets a little bit bossy and has to be reminded of how to be a nice friend. But other than that, they are a hoot to listen to as they play. The scenarios and the voice changes are too funny. And for some reason, Kate always seems to talk like she is an old English woman. So hilarious!

I agree. She is a cute butterfly! (And by no means an ugly bug!)
Awww, such a cute idea for Eva's preschool! And I love the old English accent! I wish you had it recorded.
