Random thoughts

First of all, last week's play date was a little less than fun and we didn't get any pictures. We went to play at Chik-fil-a, but the play area was a little too big for her abilities. On top of that, when we first came in there was a little boy in there, and then his dad came in to check on him. Let's just say that he was a little shady looking... the homeless version of her Uncle Brock. She immediately climbed into my lap and didn't get to far away from then on. It made me thankful that I didn't turn around to get the camera I had forgotten.

Eva and I have had some interesting moments this week, she has discovered how fun it is to take her diaper off. More than once this week, I have found her naked. It's one of those things that you can't be mad about, you just have to laugh. Enjoy the naked pictures. :) She has had much better behavior this week, as well, which has made the week more fun. On Thursday, we were out running errands and she saw the park across the street from the post office. She started saying, "Slide! Slide!" so we made an impromptu trip to the park, which was soooo much fun. She was laughing hard as she was swinging and then I had to tear her away from the park around dinner time.

Also, this week, I witnessed the sweetest scene ever. When Ryan came home, he took Eva outside to swing. I went to the door and noticed her laying on his shoulder and him singing "Jesus Loves Me" to her. When he would stop, she would look up and say "Jesus song" and then lay her head back down. So sweet!

That's our week in review. I'll do better next week. :)

So cute and so sweet and so much fun.

And loved the 'homeless version of Uncle Brock' thing...fun-ny.

Do you see Russ much since you live in the same area? I mean, I know the Dallas area is huge...you may still be hours away. :) Just curious.

Awe! Mrs. Johnson! I still love you and your family, too. How's Ariel doing? Wow... third grade... tough year... that long division made me crazy. :)

Michawn, we do see Russ and his wife every now and then. Not too often, they are like an hour and a half away. I meant to add a picture of Eva wearing a Dallas Mavs shirt which she calls her "Russ shirt" because he's the one who gave it to her. She loves seeing him, we wish we could see him more.
