Sick again

This weekend Ryan's parents came to visit. We had such a great time. I'm definitely blessed to have the in-laws that I have. We get along great! And of course, Eva LOVES her "Mimi" and "Ty-ty". She gets so excited to see them. She was disappointed that Ryan's sister couldn't come. We had been telling her all week that she was coming and then when we found out that she wasn't coming, Eva seemed a little upset about that. We told Eva that she had to stay and work so all weekend she would say, "Annie, work."

Eva had such a big weekend, that I wasn't surprised that she took 2 naps yesterday. She wasn't quite herself at all yesterday, very clingy, a little cranky, and disobedient. I just assumed that she was tired. However, she woke up this morning with a fever. She spent the ENTIRE day in my lap wanting to rock. She would look up at me and say "Jesus song". And then we would sing "Jesus loves me" or "Jesus Loves the Little Children." It was really sweet. We rocked and sang almost all day long. After Eva went to sleep tonight, I told Ryan that even though I haven't done much today, I am still very tired. It's exhausting to hold a 23 lb. child all day long. It almost felt like being pregnant. Hopefully she'll be feeling better tomorrow and hopefully she doesn't have the flu. That would be terrible. Her poor little body has taken a beating this year with all of her illnesses.

My throat is feeling a little questionable tonight as well. So pray that I don't get sick. That would be miserable.
